Quick Question

I have read all the FAQ's and printed them out to read, that helped ALOT. Thankyou! But I just have one question, Buttercup, (The Female) goes inside the nesting box alot and when I peeked inside, I saw that she has been chewing on alot of the paper and tisue in it, and she even took alot of it out. I put a pile of tissue next to the box to see if she would bring it in, and I will see what happens, But do you think she is really moving that around to lay her eggs? or just moving it around and chewing it for entertainment?

a hen in breeding condition will chew chew chew so that is a good sign. also dont use nesting material so if she is removing it she could be getting the box ready to nest

Hath is right Budgie find a hollow area and clean it out to use as they nest unlike other birds who make a nest.

It sounds like she is cleaning to make ready for her eggs.
