Interesting question. the average age range for males to be bred with is between 1-6 years. Hen 1-3 year. Link to comment

You will have to check that you can show a bought bird. In most areas of Australia this is not allowed and you can only show birds that are breed by you. Hath can advise you of the ruling in England. Also as a novice in show breeding within a club you can usually show bought in birds for up to a year. As Daz states this can vary between states of Australia. Link to comment

Here we have Nest feathers, Young Birds and Old birds. Sometimes we also have any age. Young birds differ on the hatch date. At the monment I think it is 1st July 06. After that date they become old birds. Link to comment

Well there is now only 2 1/2 weeks to the nationals macka.. It will be "Interesting" what the deligates come up with this time. It has already been voted and passed that the ring date be moved to the 1st Sept and now they want to change it before it comes in. Don't know what to think about that. Link to comment
