Adorable little fellow. Give him plenty of things he can rip or chew on - chewing toys, etc. You might think them expensive now, but they will be cheaper in the long run.

He is adorable, when we got Jake who is a red healer, we put all shoes and boots inside and he has heaps of his own toys but his favorites are old plastic pot plants the ones the come from the nursery and you normally chuck away and his balls.

He loves pig ears and pig trotters keeps his teeth occupied.

Good luck with him Phill

He's perfectly marked and I love the floppy ears - he's soooo cute!!!

Being a blue heeler, he'll be a very loyal companion. Just make sure you're firm when it comes to training as they can be quite willful - too smart for their own good!!!

Does he nip at them to get that name Phill, I wanted to call Jake "Bear" when we first got him but he is not my dog so I had to settle for Jake but he really looked like a bear.

Dogs have a way of living up to their names. I would seriously consider naming him something else. :)

Certainly does Julie, ive told them to give him a light tap on the nose everytime he bites,he has to determine what is food and what is a finger before he gets to big.
