I hope its a double yolker, I'd like to think that chook will get tomorrow off. When we get too many eggs we give them away to friends and family, but I guess this one will have to be a keeper! It is not very common though as the doubles are often infertile. Our hens produced a few last season, but not one was fertile. Twins would be really cool.. Kaz had twin budgies and they both survived too :hi: Link to comment

Was there a yolk in it and was it one of your chooks first eggs? I've heard they can do strange things when the first start laying, like laying eggs without shells etc. Link to comment
