Looks like it may be having a stress moult maybe. Several of my babies have gone through this and I am now just waiting until they are old enough for their first real moult and keeping my fingers crossed that their flights and tail feathers grow back in Link to comment

French moult doesnt. Sunnie...if you are still waiting, it may never happen. Pearce...hard to say...definitely NOT feather duster. French moult is my opinion. If they grow back in a couple of weeks then stress moult but in my expereince stress moult is flights and tailfeathers only and not involving the body feathers like yours. I say french moult. There is an article that was written by Mavis Metcalf in regards to the feather duster budgie where she also has a link to a page of pics of birds with the feather duster disorder. Mavis Metcalfs article :The article Pictures of the Feather Duster can be found at this site:Feather Dusters I hope this links help Link to comment

Side note with french moult: New Zealand doesn't have it! hehe Link to comment
Guest DrNat
Sometimes moulters grow back their feathers, treat them for lice. Link to comment
