Loui hurt his wing before I got him, the pet store owner thinks his mom stepped on his wing as a baby, but I don't know how it happened. It doesn't stop him from running around his cage though, and he jumps high, but I have to watch him at jumping because he gets excited but he isn't the best at landing, :hap: He's a very happy bird, he doesn't seem to know he can't fly. He'll even strech his good wing and try to do it. He's around 4 yr old. He's the sweetest little gentleman. Lizzy is the opposite, she's the wild child, always getting into everything, and she can have her temper too. They've tried to breed several time, Lizzy even lays eggs, but they never produce babies, I don't know if it's because of Loui's wing, or something else. I just put a nesting box in their cage again (I put it a few months ago, she laid eggs, but no babies) . So we'll see what happens, she will usually lay them on the bottom of the cage, and even make a little nest under the newspaper. The last couple of times she hasn't laid on the eggs though.
