Sick? Taking To Vet Tomorrow

im new to this site and budgies in general so bare with my lack of knowledge, i have been reading a bit. My budgie (boaty) male i believe he is 5-6 months old, has been acting very weird lately. im taking him to the vet tomorrow morning but im scared. he has been scratching and preening alot, was active about 2 days ago but now he is sitting around eyes opening and closing and is puffed up, and will perch almost horizontal at some points. he is eating plenty but in the past 24 hours he has been laying down in his food bowl and im just really scared for him right now can someone please explain to me if he is sick or not?? like i said im taking him to the vet tomorrow morning first thing. any reply is welcome thanks so much <3
