trefto 0
More nice pics birdlove, you seem real handy with a camera, is this a hobby of yours or do you do photography professionally ? And what type camera do you use ? keep up the good work. Edited January 18, 2014 by trefto Link to comment
Birdlove 0
Thanks! trefto, I really enjoy photography but its just a hobby of mine. I have a Canon rebel T3. I got it as a special that came with 2 lenses, one a 'normal' lense with just a tiny zoom, and one a 75-300 mm zoom lense. I'd like to get a longer lense but they are not cheap! Budgie_Mad 0
I agree, the lenses are never cheap, we wanted to get one for my mum, but we underestimated the cost, and have to save a little more. Link to comment
trefto 0
Hi Birdlove, that still must be a decent sort of camera to capture shots that well, especially those fast moving shots of the birds wing beats. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work with those lovely photo's. Cheers. Edited January 19, 2014 by trefto Link to comment

Finnie 0
Very nice, Birdlove. You must have had a great vacation! Is your camera the same as the Eos Rebel? I think that's what my niece has, and we are thinking of getting the same one. How did you decide, if you don't mind me asking? Link to comment
Birdlove 0
Very nice, Birdlove. You must have had a great vacation! Is your camera the same as the Eos Rebel? I think that's what my niece has, and we are thinking of getting the same one. How did you decide, if you don't mind me asking? Yes, I think its the same... I think mine is a canon eos rebel T3. When I got it I really had no experience with any kind of "good" cameras, but I knew canon was a pretty good brand... anyway, the rebels were less expensive than the other canons. But I read that really you dont need a super expensive camera to take good shots, just a decent one and a good lens. As I said mine came with 2 lenses. I got it from Anazon, but I don't know if they still sell it. I really like the camera, but i'm still learning how to use it, lol. Oh and yes, we had a great vacation! We went down the Gulf coast of Florida, all the way down to the Everglades, and back up the Atlantic coast. Our last stop before heading home was at a State park in South Carolina, and when we got there we discovered that the back wall of our travel trailer was falling off! So we got to stay there a lt longer than planned, and when we finally got it fixed we had to race a snowstorm home.... Edited February 2, 2014 by Birdlove Link to comment
JimmyBanks 0
Good pictures! I want to get an Canon DSLR... they take great shots. That said, you still need to know what makes a good shot and you've got that too. love the Bald Eagle shots. Link to comment
