rachelrose 0
To me he looks like a boy, but he doesnt look like an Albino as he doesnt show the red eye. May be DEC but hes just a baby so don't know if he doesnt have Iris's or not yet. And don't know what color his cere will stay. Anyone got any good guesses or ways of knowing what he is? Any help would be appreciated! Thankyou!
robyn 0
Looks like a d.f. spangle Cock bird to me, although I'm no expert. The black eyes say he's not Albino. I have one the same but he ended up with "suffusion" down his chest after first moult, very pretty just a light mauve chest. Do you know what your birds parents are?
rachelrose 0
Nope I have no idea his parentage. He was at the shop with alot of pied s and a few lutinos and a few spangles so I have no idea what he could be without buying him and watching him grow haha. Anyone else got a way? hilly 0
Hi Rachelrose he could be dec but they are rare. He could also be a double factor spangle recessive pied which will look just like a dec but the breeding results will be different. I think he is some type of pied as his feet look pink and his beak is orange, double factor spangles generally have pigment in their feet and beak. Cheers Jenny

He could be either DF spangle, DEC or both. You will probably have to wait until he molts, and find out if he gets a blue cere or iris rings.
