If you are after his birds that is. I know someone in Melton area that use to the pet shop to let him know when Ian Hunter brought his birds in and I guess he would go through them and pick what he wanted before they went up for sale. Mind you Ian Hunter no longer lives in the area anymore. But they same goes for many top breeders. Link to comment

If he hasnt got any he may be able to put you onto someone else in his club that may be help you out . Budgie people are mostly friendly and eager to encourage others , although money can be a contensious issue. Would you sell a budgie for $20 if you could get $200 to $2000 at auction ? BUT a few enquiries nver hurt anyone and you may get a plesant surprise and a good friend and mentor as well.
