Didn't go to the auction but went to the young bird show on Sunday. I was told from one of the fellas there that there was some good birds reasonably priced, still to much for me. I think the club made just over $4000 so it was a good day for them. smile.gif

Top price was $2100 for a Bob Smith bird

Average price was just under $400

Everyone seemed very happy with how it went

If gross was $4000.00 & there was a 100 birds,

the average would not be $400

I guess that it was $40000.00

all up.Seeing as one made $2100.00

I am guessing that the clubs commission was 10% which is whythe club netted $4k, while the auction made approx $40k.

This feels like a year 8 fill in the blanks maths equation.
