Just wondering if there is an easy way to tell cock from hen? Haven't got any pictures of mine at the moment but if anyone has any examples would be good. One of my birds has taken a liking to the nest box but wont let the other anywhere near it. Might be normal behavior not sure??? Thought i might have had two hens will get pictures when i get a chance.

cheers

If the bird is over 6-8 months and female the cere will be brownish like any other female in breeding condition. If its well over that age and the cere has never gone brown then its a male. :D

if your colany breeding then you may end up with one less lutino if they are both hens so id get on to it if not you shouldnt pair up birds unless you are defenent the sex or same aplys one less bird

my albino hen almost killed her cock today so doesn't even need apply to same sex she just decided she hated him i was lucky i heard his crys and knew that sound of mummy help the woman's gone crazy cry :} got their just in time to save his eye and scalp
