I would love to know for sure what kind of budgies I have. Possum and Whizzbang have paired up so far. Thanks.

Thank You!!! Thank you!! Yes, Cosmo is a gorgeous boy, a huge big gentle sweetheart about 14 months old. He had a lovely Lutino mate that died recently so he's a bit lost.

Tinkerbell's eyes look much redder because of the flash, in reality they look black. Is that unusual?

Cool! Who would you recommend pairing with who? Or what would suggest I look for to pair with these ones. I tried to bond Cosmo with Sparkles but she was soooo mean to him I couldn't stand it. Poor boy!

Whizzbang – T2 yellow or golden face sky blue

Possum – Dominant pied violet grey (The cheek patches are too bright for a grey so she is probably violet grey)

Tinkerbell – Albino

Sparkles – Opaline recessive pied sky blue

Cosmo – Dominant pied light green

Gilbert – T2 yellow face opaline spangle sky blue

I want Gilbert. Mail him to me, I'll pay $50 plus shipping fees. Haha  Everybody else named off your colors but I had to add that I think they are gorgeous. And I love the name Whizzbang, that's just beyond hilarious. Wish I was that creative.

What makes Possum Violet Grey and not Mauve? I would have thought Mauve? Just trying to learn the difference.

I wondered about the violet/mauve thing too. In real life I would have said she looks very grey. On the back around her tail she is definitely a very deep grey.

We have a houseful of oddly named pets. We used have a a duck called Duck Vader, a chook called Chickzilla, and now one of the hens we have (ex battery girls) is a huge big monster of a rescue hen that towers above all the others (I don't know what breed she is) and has enormous muscular turkey legs.... we called her Attilla the Hen.
