Well here i m at the wynmum auction. Some nice birds. Interesting to see how the bidding goes. No familiar faces, but i can guess a few i think

Wynnum is seeking to top Hills in NSW as the number 1 auction in Australia, financially anyway. 172 lots. Rules being read. Start your engines !!!!!!

Nice to meet you Dave, sorry we didn't have much time to talk mate.

There most expensive bird sold for $3200 by Bob Smith and it was a Opaline Grey Green hen and I don't no who bought it.

Ian Hunters birds were very nice and they also sold for top dollar, with one going for $1700.

One of Garry Gazzards sold for $2500 and there were heaps more that sold for over $1000.

There were no bargains to be found.

I bided on about 25 birds out of a 172 and came home with nothing, my budget was around the $250 mark for a bird.

Yes I'm disappointed and I would really like to tell you what I really think @#$% but I won'tmad.gif

But I will say that I will not be going again to this auction and there are certain vendors that I will never buy birds off.

The auction was very well run and the club did a great job.

Keep it real!

To go to a Auction, that wants to topple,Hills there is not going to be any bargain buys.By your comments, there was a lot of running the birds.

Birds don't make 2 to $3000 with out 2 bidders on them,it good for bussiness,

to have those birds, making that sort of money.
