The mother is mating again and I can her her attacking the baby its moving about and screaming....... I am going to take her out and seperate her asap..... got advised to put baby on the floor in a container and dad will look after it.... Could I leave it the nest at all??? or may the father not go in there??? as Its still very young. ANd do I need to move the mother far away???? Link to comment

CHEERS if i was you id take mum out let dad feed then when chick is eatting put mum back wont be long before you get more eggs and chick will be safe and mum rested a bit may be few weeks before she relays but thats what i would do Link to comment
