At least all matings werent on the floor. The cockbird is borrowed from forum member and staff member Libby as he wasnt getting any girls at her place and she wanted him to have a show budgie type gal for a mate. He's been here for awhile....was in quarantine and then moulting in the aviary. this was his first chance to breed since he has been here. Looks like he was very keen.

Finally went around the birdroom candling eggs today.........reassuring is LOTS and LOTS of fertile eggs
