How Do I Tame 2 Budgies?

I have 2 budiges Pebbles and Sparky When i try to get pebbles out of the cage he bites me and draws blood and bites other people too. Sprky is very good. But they are scared when i put hand in cage, thy run around when im not moving my hand... Need some help! And they are hard to catch. What am I doing wrong? Ive had them for a one year now.

You have two in one cage............they bond to each other and not you.

Easier to train one before adding another budgie.

You may have to seperate them and train them seperately :question:

Yes never thought of it like that. but my friend has 2 budgies in the same cage and has them both tamed they ven fly t her when they want too.I want my bugdies like that. :question:

My friend gave me another cage so im going to seperate them. Im going to clear my spareroom out and put them both in there. A budgie room lol. Got any ideas how to set up a budgie room????? Its quiet small/mediumish.

You do not have to keep them in separate cages. All you need to do is take one of your budgies in a small room for a taming session. Then after you are finished. You put the budgie back into the cage and take your other budgie and repeat the same thing with that one.

Just remember to take it slow and be patient with them. If you push them you will lose their trust and will have to start all over again.

Im seperateing them because they are not getting along with each other, biting each others tails and so on. Thanks for the tips and thanks for the Link I will read it now.

I managed to tame Kipper and Kiddles with them together, but it took quite a long time. :D
