What an awesome aviary set up, it looks like fun for the birds. I love the wine rack idea, I'm going to cheat on that idea.

You will pay $1-$2 each from garage sale, swap meets or second hand shops for those.

If I named it after daryl, he would come get him :)

Velvet sounds a little gay for a budgie boy.

Names I am thinking of are

Yeti

Moose

Hulk

Goliath

Randolph

Errol

Valentino

Jeeves

Goliath and Valentino get my vote. Do you already have a Sampson?

GB, what about the great Errol Flynn, heartthrob of the silent movies, the daring sword-fighter?

You can't call him hulk, he's not green :D

Valentino is good, sounds very suave....does he make the girls swoon?? :D

The name velvet did seem a little feminine, but in keeping with the fabric thoughts, what about?

Suede - more manly than velvet, but still smooth

Denim - blue, very casual, but think James Dean

Memphis - home of Elvis, and the blue Suede shoes

OOH DAVE!! Memphis is a fantastic name!!

Vote x50 for Memphis
