lol that's a crack up

i came here to congratulate..... and its me i won

so i guess i should give a reason why i stuck a budgie in a cup ...

 

well this beautiful hen is one my 08 hens

she had a feather cyst so i had to slice the wound open and get out the yukky stuff

poor girl vet told me it was to bad that she would eventually die from it couldn't be fixed

but me being me

never take never for an answer

having the proper surgical equipment i decided if she was going to die then it wasn't with out at least trying

so after being cut and squeezed i sat her tail end in a small cup of warm salt water and Bernadine for stopping infection

and relief poor dear she did so good didn't even bit me

the cyst was huge her feathers were covering so when i got her home after buying and i gave her the once over cause she wouldn't fly that's when i located and found it

she is much better now and healthy as

although not at my home she is doing well very well and i took this to remember my dear little grey hen whom i really love as i couldn't resist

and i thought i would share

im glad you all liked it thanks guys

no dave shes down the road a bit as i didnt think she should breed as lovley as she is

i sent her with a friend and well

regardless of what i thought was best for her she has layed eggs with her old boy friend

so.....

the new owner was prized as i was as the cock was a really beautiful but fat over weight cock 04

thought id send him to retirement lol

i will see if i can get a picture for you of her now

with her boyfriend

if any chicks hatch i was told i could have 1 not going to refuse as i love both of them just thought for their best interest however she was healthy in every other way so no harm done

just so you know they were not paired deliberate by new owner

infact we gave her some old infertiles as she was trying to steel her cocktails eggs and nest box

she seemed happy with that but decided she wanted her own it seems

weather they hatch or not is another question
