Hi Dear Forum Members,

I would like to find out my Parakeets Sex. They are around 6-8 months. My friends gave them to me. I put them in one cage. They are not fighting. They are courting and staying together all the time. Can you help me?

Thanks

Yes, the one I believe had a dark brown cere and then the other one is simple to see. I agree both females.

Thanks Elly,

I was told that 2 females will fight for the territory. They are not fighting. I guess the parakeet with the blue white cere is not a male. I have two good females. Thanks again

Definitely both female.

You pics show the difference between birds that are in and out of breeding season. You can see why people get confused.
