Babies looking after babies. The little green baby had to come out of iots nestbox earlier due to Mum laying the next round....the blue baby has taken it under its wing so to speak and makes sure its gets fed.

I dont know Shannon....I have lost count. I will check all of them when I put them in the new flights in a week or so.
The cinnamon coloured wings on a blue body are a very good look.
I agree........its very attractive in a budgie :DLook what I found when I checked the nest earlier :happy-dancing: 076-1.jpgSo I put it outside for safe keeping :ohmygod:101-2.jpg
Another egg. I removed the two eldest babies to the kindie cage and added three of the plucked babies from another nest. 070-3.jpg

Hang on, hang on.

You are a great breeder Kaz. Kazoo did not say you were the greatest breeder in the history of feathered flight. You chicks are beautiful. You should be very proud.

Agreed. Your birds have made a big jump from last year. I'm really looking forward to seeing Thundra and sister when they're fully through the moult as they should be very nice.

I will check him Macka, but from what I recall he was turning this way and that as I tried to get him to keep still for a photo. I dont think its his normal toe postion.

Maybe yes, maybe no with taping it up. I dont think this bird has a toe problem. :P Edited by KAZ
