Hi, I have all my budgies outside in the aviary now. The newest ones are finished quarantine and I thought I'd share some photos of everyone.

All 12 budgies in one photo.

These are the budgies who've paired up. Sunny and Dexter.

Eddie and Briar, These 2 have been together since they were really young, this is them then.

And now.

And Summer and Sky. They're blurry but I'm glad Summer's finally given up on me and decided having a budgie for a mate is a good idea.

Thanks nubbly and robyn. Some birds are more posey than others I think, the green greywing boy in the first picture on the left flew for his life when I tried to get a close up of him. I can't get a good shot of the yellowface sky hen either but that's because she lands on the camera when I point it at her.

It's a Turquoisine Daniela :) and I was wondering how he goes with the budgies Elsa??

I have had Turks but sold them in the end, they were very aggressive and even though on the other side of the wire, still caused the tiels some grief :(

I miss their colours though but they went to a great home

Thanks guys. The turquoisines get on well with the budgies, there are two in there, but only one in these pics. I have heard they can be aggressive but I think it depends on the individual birds because I've never had any real issues with them. I have a topic in the Off Topic Chatter section called "My Other Birds" where I talk a bit more about that and there's some photos of them if you want to look at that.

found it elsa

;) them all your birds look exellent the other bird has beautiful colours havent seen one of those before beautiful and i love all the pictures but im still bias about the greywing and the texas colours :D i have baby texas out now flying but their colour has a lot of suffision no where as good as yours and there was one plain yellow in the nest as well this time no suffision their father has more suffision in him than my other male that bred sunny guess this is where it came from wont be breeding him with same hen again going to experimentate

your aviary looks big you would have lots of room in it they are very lucky birds thats why they look great

Thanks Ghazzigh. I would love to see your Texas and crested fledglings and your new budgies if you've got some photos of them. Sorry to hear about the baby you lost.

thank you for that elsa and i put them on this forum yesterday under mum and babies if you want to look i lost another baby that had a funny beak too when you get babies make sure you check thier beaks for dried food everyday apparently that was my issue with this one so preventable when you know

hubby has started another aviary framed it up today roughly placed where its going got to move it again out so we can get the concrete down but had to make sure it was same height as all the others its a fraction wider outwoods thats all and got to cut doors inside from number 3 cage to this one i have all internal doors after you go in to the breeding room and then because this is the last cage we building it has a door on the outside as well when weather is better so its just sitting there no wire on yet cant wait it will be another free flight for them so i can breed keep more haha
