I am guessing that nobody has them yet, but would be interested in seeing how the different states handle the timing of this new ring issue. Cheers P Link to comment

I know we are supposed to get them on Sept 1, but what I really wan't to know is how much variation is there from state to state in actual arrival date? Do they all arrive Sept 1 or are some earlier and if so how much earlier? Cheers, PT Link to comment

I know that the rings have already arrived in WA to the WABC ring steward and they will posted out to club stewards towards the end of the month. Too slow, Kaz beat me to it. The 24th is a full week before 1st of sept, most postal deliveries only take 2-3 days maximum, meaning most breeders will recieve rings at the lastest 27th of August. I was always under the impression rings were to arrive as close to the 1st of Sept/Jan but not before.... Link to comment

Its up to the ring registrar as to when they get to post them to arrive to certain people ( country or local ) on or before the Sept 1st. I was basing that on them getting to me for distribution first. Then when I can get them into the post for everyone. Obviously I wont be getting them to people too early. Link to comment

I expect there will be a big variance across the country - a day prior would be acceptable, anything more is not. The ring issue date is 1st Sept........... Link to comment

Typical ring registrar But how are you going to ensure that all members will get their rings exactly on the 1st September or will you not post them out until that date? Australia Express Post to the Outer Regions e.g. Bundaburg and Roma. Normal post to closer clubs. The rings will go late on Friday 28th so that the Club Ring Stewards have them either Monday 31st or midday 1st September. They then distribute on the day. Last year every one recieved them on the day except one club that got them a day late. "Can't help Australia Post" I pitty the Club Ring Stewards as the members will be waiting on thier door steps. Not to do with the actual year. We are amidst a change of ring issue dates. Link to comment
