However, I believe they are very high in fat (they feel oily and we get sesame oil from it) so I would only give it as a treat. Link to comment

I got this info from the master breeder uk website Kaz. The oil seeds include rape, flax, niger, poppy, sunflower, hemp, sesame, and peanut. These seeds in addition to supplying energy they provide essential fatty acids, namely, linoleic, linolenic and arachidonic. Link to comment
