If it was type too the grey green wouldn't be grey green.. i know that. But is there a colour that might make a bird look grey green if it was YF2? He has definately got yellow flecks through his body colour.. and there was a YF2 colbalt spanlge hen who also had it.. so is it just cos of the spangle?.. He belongs to a friend and they are moving away so i'm hoping i can catch up with them again before they go.. The only thing that is making me so unsure is the flecks of yellow through his body colour.. They are very very noticable.. Link to comment

What is the colouring of the bird on the rump area or around the legs? Also under the wings can help with colour. young yellowface showing start of patches (nromal) goldeface still looking all green yet you can see patchiness in colour Grey-green spangle Link to comment
