That's really crappy for you AV So far so good over here but I'm thinking about bringing the ones down the back in the aviaries inside for the next few days as I just can't deal with heading out there every hour or two to hose them off. The aircon is mediochre at best but atleast it shaves about 10degrees off the outside temp. Link to comment

Now next week it looks like we are going to hit over 40 for Mon - Wed so I am now thinging the air con was a good idea Link to comment

I ahve put a false roof over top of my tin roof to cool it down and it was working great but it is just too hot for them now, hosing the roof down works for a while by putting a sprinkler up on top but when you turn it off it just gets worst, muggy and hot, poor birds Link to comment

No one is really looking at breeding anyway, well outside of one cock who is just randy all the time. I knew it was hot yesterday as I brought Harley and his girlfriend inside and he came up to the edge of the cage and let me give him belly scratches and kisses which he has not done in years, poor boy was sooooooo out of sorts. Elmo got a shower but did not like it (I think it had more to do with the people showering him then the shower as I was not the one doing it) Link to comment
