Golden Delicious! Its face looks like a bit of core! I better admit to all of you now that I am half Irish, my mum was born there. JimmyBanks 0 Posted January 20, 2009 I knwe which picture you were talking about as soon as you said it Trish cos when I first scrolled through the pictures quickly I thought I saw an apple too... then I looked at them slower and realised it was a bird
Dave_McMinn 0 Posted January 21, 2009 i cannot call a lutino apple. Not right. I can not call it delicious - the last thing i want to encourage is it to be eaten. They are magnificent looking birds Jimmy. I have to seriously evaluate some other birds now.

Dave_McMinn 0 Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) My sister is about to get an aviary for my nephews, so I am thinking that some can move there, where they can live out their days, but they are still in the family - LOL. You are right, tough love is the mantra of many a show breeder (and that includes me now, even though i have never shown a bird - I am going to need to adjust my info on the left there) lastest update, the new and old birds are all doxy'ed up. I am going to apply the same treatment method for all birds, old and new, so at the end of this, they will all have undergone the same procedure. Since I am putting so many birds into the aviary, I figure that when they are all placed together, then they should all be at the same level. **KAZ** 0 Posted January 21, 2009 Just want to mention a very nice gesture from Dave...he bought me this little blue budgie hen bred by Fran McLaughl Related closely to this little hen I bought as a 10 week old chick at an auction recently for $25. and now looks like this Hoping the chick Dave bought for me develops just as well....she is going through her first moult. The father of the first blue bird I bought at auction is the grandfather of the little chick Dave just bought for me.

Dave_McMinn 0 Posted January 22, 2009 my birds outside in my aviary cannot see my new birds in the garage, and vice versa, but there is a lot of conversation going on. It can get quite loud here with all the calling out. Oh well, the countdown until the end of quarantine is on. 41 days to go -
