Hello

Well, Coco is now about 8 months old, he didn't start his first moult until mid May, and he is looking mighty fine now, well I think so anyway :D

He is also sporting a new cage :D Do you think that I could fit three budgies in there?

Here are some new pictures of my gorgeous boy. He is so adventurous now. During the past couple of weeks he has finally taken to eating his veggies, coming out of his cage, and took his first proper bath last night.

What a sweetie. I have that exact same cage. I currently have 2 budgies in it, but if your birds had plenty of out of cage time, you should be able to house 3 in there. How do you find the big front door? I hated it so I modified it to open like a normal door :D

Why 3? I always think that odd numbers are not a good idea. Get him a friend, sure, but do not buy 2 other budgies, or one will be left out.

Cheers Neat :D No I didn't make the swing, I wish I could say that I did though. I bought it online from parrot rescue centre (www.parrotrescuecentre.com). They only charge something like $8 for delivery for as much as you want, and they have a lot of natural products.

Coco was in a cage the same but it was 24 inches and this one is 30 inches and it had the same door, so I am kind of used to it. I just keep it pegged up when I am home, but it would be much easier if it opened like a normal door. I would love to see a picture of how you modified it, very creative :D

Well, I only have Coco at the moment, and in spring I will be getting a baby from Liv and I wasn't sure if later down the track I would want another. I have never really thought about how one would be left out, good point. I will stick to two then.

Thank you, Tiki is a cute name :)

Thanks Andrew, yes it would be nice to see some new photos of Bing, I am sure he is looking great. I am thinking about taking the perch out for a while so he can be yellow for a while :wine
