Guest dutchman
well the 3 chicks are doing fine now. am prety sure who the dad is, not billy. it seems one is total yellow and oldest and youngest will be green. Had some trouble last week, the females are fighting. one had a bloody cere and the males are into the females and not feeding jock. so i have seperated them and just left out mum and dad and everything seems okay again. only problem is i feel bad putting the others '' in jail''. keep you posted. happy easter Link to comment

Guest dutchman
i felt bad about caging billy, he used to be realy tame and is of course my favourite. i decided to let him back into the flight. the first thing he did was looking in on the chicks. he was constantly there and i was not sure if he was bitting or feeding them. he then started fighting with jock the mother so i had to send him back to jail and i know he hates it. Guest dutchman
hi, just an update on the chicks. i have decided to call them ron and reg cause i cant tell them apart.ron has left the box for the first time today. i dont know if he flew or fell but i stuck him back in, he will probably be back out tomorrow.i have decided as soon as i know they can feed themselves to bring them indoors and try to hand tame them and see from there, ''maybe not long term as i have a cat''. this also means i can let all the prisoners out ''4 females and 2 males''has anyone any advice, welcome Link to comment

Guest Julie
Lovely to be able to see that picture as I've no experience of breeding-the hen certainly seems to be giving you the evil eye! Julie Link to comment
Guest Nasal_Tufts
okay I got the pictures from dutchman and I got them all uploaded to photobucket. I tried to put them in order from youngest picture to oldest picture. I'll let dutchman tell you what each picture is. All the pictures should be under 450X450 so hopefully they wont be deleted, at least photobucket told me they were. here they are.... (deleted ones that where WAY to big) -Nerwen Edited April 24, 2005 by nerwen Link to comment
