I wouldnt put four budgies in a cage that size. My breeder cabinets are bigger than that and I think only just big enough for two...my breeder cages.

But thats me and you may get a different opinion :)

that is a small cage for 4 birds. How much time do they get out of that cage? I know that they are pet size and it seems large, but is there really room to fly?

I have 3 budgies in a cage bigger than that size and they are out of it most of the day. I had Lady in there (which made 4 budgies in my cage ) for a few days while she recovered from a bad blood feather and with the 4 in there it was way too Crowded - I would resist the urge to have any more budgies until you can get a much bigger cage or have 2 smaller ones.

I agree with Kaz, I personally had Pretty in a cage that size and would never think of putting in 2 in that cage even with out time they need their space, I would consider upgrading to a cage that can hold up to 6 budgies in case you decide to expand again :), they are relatively cheap if you look on e-bay too. Congrats on the new addition.

I agree with what has been said above me however depends on how much time they spend out of the cage. my friend has one around that side but she works from home and the Budgies come out at 7 or 8am and go back in about 8pm so they are really only in it to sleep. if they are going to be spending more time then that in it then i would not be looking at putting more then 2 in it.
