Is Latte House Keeping?

Recommended Posts

My Latte cleans all the poop off the paper on the bottom of the cage (which is sitting above the wire) and drops the poop into the tray below. The cage floor always looks freshly cleaned. She is not bored becuase she has 2 other friends in the cage with her, Cookie and Scooter, and she comes out to play a number of times a day. :hap:

Perhaps she can teach Cookie and Scooter to squat over the hole in the paper and thereby have an "instant" clean house! :) :hap:

:hap: Now that's an idea. If she could do that, I would put a bucket in the aviary and get her to teach the entire flock to go "potty" :hap: - We can dream hehe ^_^

They are little characters! I love the way each budgie has their own personality and their own manerisims hehe

The funny thing is that I have been trying to decide on a colour for my next one for about two months now, and I imagine that it will take me another few to decide. There are so many pretty ones, and of course it has to compliment my darling Coco :)

Guest DrNat

It is quite common for budgies to clean their perches and wire, and they do sometimes eat their own and others poo as well. Good source of vitamins and natural intestinal bacteria, but sometimes can cause spread of disease if other budgies are introduced to aviary.
