Update On My Baby Budgies

Recommended Posts

Guest Keisha

i thought i would do a thread about the mother of the soon to be born baby budgies :parrot: and every time my friend gives me updates i'll post them here. So far there's 3 eggs and the mom is in the nest sitting on the eggs. Now i don't know if all budgies do this, but the male will sit on the eggs when the female comes out for a break. He even takes food to her :D they are so cute, they love each other and kiss quite abit :D

This behavior is very common in budgies and even other birds. Look forward to the journey :D

thanks elly  the parents names are jack and jill, and while i was talking to karen, i heard jack talking :( he was talking to the 2 rats that they have :hap: it sounded so cute :D i would take pics of them, but karen didn't train them so if you open the cage they will fly out, and they have a cat. But they both are blue and white :D but once i get my girls, i will take lots of pics :D

No worries :D ...I'm glad I could be of some assistance.--- A cat has a litter of kittens, a dog has a litter of puppies... where as a budgie has a clutch of eggs. ---

This gives you time to get that new cage & start getting ready Keisha ! The eggable to hatchable & then on to fledgeables won't be ready for a while. Are you going to visit them often & watch them grow & feather ? I think that would be so cool !

You can tell everyone you saw your bub when it was just a bud ! An ugly pink wobbly big eyed long neck weebly squawking wheezing freaky baby with a gigantic smiley mouth demanding food while it huddled in the corner of the nest box with the other bubs. While they is a poopin every 2 minutes, I almost forgot the poopin part.

Dang they are so cute like that ! :D

What a nice looking Blue Boy there Keisha, are you planning on hand taming your budgies ?

He reminds me of Elly's Merlin the Magnificent !
