The next day I couldn't put it in fast enough for them. :(Laughing out loud): Just wondering if any one else had ever offered corn to their budgies. Not only do they get some yummy treat but once all the corn is gone they have a play toy in the shape of the cob (I did cut it into small pieces about three rows wide) Ringo it seems loved to play with it becuase the corns resting spot was the water, which she loved to throw stuff into :bluebudgie: Link to comment

She does some great acrobatics too! Will have to get the camera out and post some on here - its quite amusing! I didnt realize it left yellow stains though - handy having a yellow bird as she likes it SO much Link to comment

Stains, well three yellow faces one white and I didn't notice Pie had stains on him, well he does't eat it as much as his kids do. :(Laughing out loud): Link to comment

Guest bluebird Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 I know this in an old post but I give mine the frozen corn, I just pop it into a cup of boiling water for a min or 2 then let it cool down and they love it, Hmmmmm maybe give it to them in summer when its still frozen, kinda like a corn icypoles... yummm... Especially when feeding their young, and its the first thing they devour . They have the choice of endives, sprouted seed and corn. I only give it to them once or twice a week as I have read it can make them fat..... Link to comment
