The nicest YF budgies are the YF grey spangles, I think Edited February 25, 2008 by KAZ Link to comment

Grey is an adding factor so a white based budgie would be grey (vs blue) and a yellow based budgie would be a green grey budgie so you understand how the gene works. To get the full details on Grey Budgies and breeding them you will want to go here The Budgie Place I find this site very resourceful and put very well in words that a novice (such as myself) can understand. Remember that the grey bird is a blue based bird. So pairing a grey to a green will not get you grey birds. Link to comment

HEYYYYYY FEATHERS ..... ( how are you ) I honestly didn't think that there were that many * Proves I am still Blonde (Laughing out loud) Sweet I think that I will have to do more researching I just HOnestly couldn't understand the whole gentics so I am guessing I will throw a couple in and see how we go  Link to comment

( how are you ) HEEEYYYYY NEAT... I am really good, thanks for asking. Budgies are all good too The genetics for a YF grey is really easy... you just need a YF bird and a grey... 50% chance that you will get a YF grey from the mix. So throwing a couple of birds together sounds like the way to go. Feathers. Link to comment
