I hope you guys don't mind that Im back but I missed this forum. Is it alright if I come back because I need some help with my show budgie breeding? :( I realized what I had done before or said was wrong and the bird should have recieved vet care since I'm not a vet yet...but after thinking about it. It was not the right thing to do because she could have died and I really didn't meen to call her a stupid egg bound budgie I was just mad. :(

Do you guys forgive me? Im not sure if this should be in the breeding section or off topic but I will post it here.

:ygbudgie: Well, Joey, it is hard to forgive somebody who made such a definite statement as you did with no retractions at the time. Food for thought, is it coincidental you are rejoining us when another budgie forum is closing down? Hope your mindset has changed in the interim. :(

Joey,

I went over your prevous posts as I wasn't around when you posted them... Owning a pet is a huge resposibility. They are dependant on you for everything... from food, water, love and MEDICAL CARE. Everyone should realise that owning a pet is a privilege, not a right. We have a lot of great people on this forum(both young and older :( ) who not only care about their own birds, but everyone else's as well. We are hear because we LOVE our birds, and are prepared to look after them properly (as we hope others will also) Please keep that in mind if you're planning on sticking around this time.

Hi Joey,

Like maesie, I to read over your previous posts and I think what she said is spot on.

In the few months I have been on this forum, the advice of all the people here has been invaluable, they generally care for the well being of my, and others, birds and pets and their repertoire of knowledge has been a great asset.

In the future I hope you are able to put the welfare of your budgies first, whatever that may entail :( .

Joey it's great that you have thought things over and realized in highsight that it wasn't the best way to handle the situation. and although a hard way to do you have learnt something that will help in the future.

we are always here to help with birds, even if there where strong feelings from both sides in the past.

Care to share about your issue at the moment?

Everone deserves a second ( or third or fourth ) chance Joey. The secret is to listen and to care and to follow through :hap:

Sorry my computer was down for 4 days and exams are a few days away so I have been busy. I am just thinking of putting 2 birds together but not sure of their qualities. I have a pair up for breeding now and the first egg should be here by the end of next week.

She is a Cinnamon Light Green Opaline hen and he is a Light Green Normal. I will post some pictures when I have time probably tomorrow or later today.

I have to go study I will be back  Thanks
