(really enjoyed looking at pics of all your aviaries too). I have 2 questions that I haven't found covered. The roof of our aviary has a square corrugation. Hope that makes sense. Bumps essentailly with a gap of about 1.5cm squared. Should we worry about a bird escaping? If so, what can we use to block it up. Now an easy one! What size dowel is best for the perches? Thanks Nic Link to comment

If so, what can we use to block it up. for gaps I use spare bits of aviary mesh to pack holes or you could use bits of wood maybe Now an easy one! What size dowel is best for the perches? Way better than dowel is natural tree branches. With the differing diameters it gives birds exercise for their feet and something to chew on as well. Natural branches like eucalyptus Thanks Nic Link to comment

I'm going to have some natural tree branches in the cage but I want to have 1 or 2 dowels going across at the very top and back of the cage. I just haven't got access to branches that will do that job so intend to use dowel. Can anyone tell me the best size? Nic Link to comment
