Have you got a name for her? Also, on the topic of vets, would this vet be acceptable? http://www.yellowpages.com.au/onlineSoluti...9b5f4&st=cs I hope that link works. In their description of animals that they care for, Birds is at the top of their list. This is also quite close to me. Edited August 22, 2007 by Missy Link to comment

The link you've provided has expired so I can't view the vet If they specialise in Aviary then you're good to go. The vet near me does exotic animals only, Cats/Dogs/Rabbits/Rodents they do not do. But birds/reptiles they do. Link to comment

Sorry about the problem with the link. The vet there deals with all animals, including birds. Link to comment

The name I've chosen for her is Cookie, when I talk to her she talks back as in makes sounds. She doesn't qwable though, you know that sound they make? It's good that the Vet deals on all animals, but they may just have general knowledge on Budgies. If you can find a Specialist in Aviary then it would be better in my opinion. How is your budgie doing? Has he settled in yet? Link to comment

Sorry about the problem with the link. The vet there deals with all animals, including birds. I would ask how many birds they see on a daily basis. We have a bird hospital by us and they see 5 to 10 birds a day this will show you how knowledgable they really are about avian medicine. Also when I was leaving there was a bird coming in so I know they were not pulling my leg. They also had everything written up on what to expect on a general exam for a bird etc... Link to comment

He put on a little show for my dad and l. He was doing somersaults on the ladder, he was staying on one perch and going in and out through the gaps in the ladder! It was quite funny to see him struggle Edited August 22, 2007 by Missy Link to comment
