I have isolated him and rang the vet again. This is on going and driving me nuts. Has any one had any birds coughing, I think it could be a sign of sour crop but he has no stuff coming out of his mouth. Has anyone got any advise. :excl: Link to comment

If he is April hatched he would be 3 to 4 months old. Have you had a chance to talk to a vet about the problems you are having? Link to comment

Cryptosporidium and Guardia are unfortunately common in some town water supplies, but usually only in summer and when the tanks get low (and thus warmer - less fresh water inflows to cool them down). Link: Cryptosporidium / Coccidia - Bird Health Care Link: CRYPTOSPORIDIUM: (A PARTICULARLY NASTY TYPE OF COCCIDIA) Splat, until you can find out what's causing your birds problems, can you filter, boil (min 20 mins and cool) or not use tap water? At this point it won't hurt to take every precaution you can. KathyW. Edited August 9, 2007 by KathyW Link to comment

That what Greg thought because last year all my birds got boiled water, then I got lazy and they gat tap water, but they have been doing good on the tap wayer till now, But it good be part of the problem. Thanks. :ausb: The oldest bird 001 has come good must have had a husk or something caught in his throat, that's what Greg thinks anyway, but he is perky as ever and hasn't coughed since that day. All other birds look okay, but there is still 4 that I'm not sure about, but it iis hard to tell because they are going through thier 1st molt and it looks like it's taking its toll. I should know by the week end what's going on, hopefully. they are still on meds. Link to comment
