Here are some photos of Mammoth taken today. He spends a lot of time in the food dish now he knows he can feed himself, eating and the rest of the time sleeping when he is not trying to bite the feet of his green stepbrother :D

The egg can't be flat posted and certainly can't fly so I believe getting on that treadmill and flight training to Elly's will be perfect :D

Kaz, there's a lot of males in that nest, is it something they're eating? Mammoth is such a sweetie, is he still getting his cuddles? He needs to learn to stand up straight on his perch too, he's a bit chest heavy :)

Kaz, there's a lot of males in that nest, is it something they're eating? Yep. I noticed that :) ...there's more testosterone in the aviary than in the house

Mammoth is such a sweetie, is he still getting his cuddles? Yes he is, and Daz told me to "backcomb his head feathers with my fingers" to make him "blow" his feathers forward too so he is "in training"

He needs to learn to stand up straight on his perch too, he's a bit chest heavy :blink:It's that full crop that does it !!

He's seems to be the same body size as his real father, just lacking in length at the moment. Yes. He will get bigger and the way he is eating he will fill out a bit more really soon.

The "family" of Curry and Laila and 7 children have all moved into a larger cage and they are having an absolute BALL in there. The babies that had previously just huddled in a corner are climbing and flying everywhere already in just minutes. I will take pictures later. :ausb:

PS Cheeta...they are in the cage I got from you :oliveb:

Are his parents getting any better at parenting? :oliveb:
