Meantime I knocked up another couple of vertical breeding cages. Two units of three verticals......making 6 cages. as the cage fronts didnbt divide equally into the height of the vertical cabinets, I cut some glass for under each cage front.......slide it sideways for cleaning and adding food etc. Cuts down on some of the seed debris coming out the front. Need to fill some original screw holes in sheeting...we had to shift supports so the depth of patio was less than original to keep it obligatory 600mm off fenceline.......so I have to seal any old screw holes over next few days. do you need council permission to build it? Yes, due to size. Wasnt too bad as it turned out original aviary was okay'ed by council. Specs for slab were required and we have to put in soakwell and guttering etc to ensure water runoff and had to create a fall on the roof instead of its original flatroof. I can fit out the walls and internal structures then. By the time the warmer weather startts we will have birds in there. Link to comment

Do you plan to use that or are you going to knock all that down, clean things up, and build ken a beautiful big aviary for his new flock? Link to comment
