Not sure what you mean. Every bird is entered in its category....i.e. grey green normal, green normal, dominant pied, and cinnamon grey normal. Also they are entered as a novice entry and not competing in, say, an open, intemediate or champion category. They would be competing with other novice entries. Is that what you meant ? Yes, that is what I meant. So can you specify what categories your budgies won in? If it isn't too much trouble. And if there are particular features about the birds that made them winners. It's very interesting. Link to comment

Oh, I can't stand it! They are so adorable!!!!!! Congrats on placing so well in the show! Which birds did you enter? Sampson...a wellbred cinnamon grey boy.....1st entered as a cinnamon grey adult Dunstan....a well bred grey green normal ....2nd (as he wouldnt sit on the perch in the showcage) entered as a grey green young A yellow and green dominant pied boy (who's name escapes me) ......1st (everyone liked him) entered as a dominant pied adult and a normal green youngster named Lloyd......1st entered as a normal green young Edited February 25, 2007 by Bubbles Link to comment

I guess I will try and ask some of the harder questions next time if I can pin the judge down. Some of the other breeders said what they liked about my birds. A few liked the dominant pied boy. I was advised to put his daughter (which I have also) to the cinnamon grey boy Sampson. Those two are romancing as we speak ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ More babies. These are the babies in Amara ( violet ) and Clyde2's ( sky normal) nest Baby one (sky?) Baby two ( Sky? ) Baby three ( violet or cobalt ? ) Baby four (mauve ? ) Edited February 28, 2007 by Bubbles Link to comment
