Meet Cosmo

Recommended Posts

I got a new budgie on Wednesday, this is Cosmo. He's not quite tame yet but he's getting good with step ups, which is awesome because he was totally untame when I got him. He's just starting his first molt and I believe he's a mauve clearflight pied, am I correct?

:D That's great you got a new pal right away after losing Buster, I knew you would. Cosmo is beautiful, very different markings, enjoy your new friend. :)

He is so cute -- I love baby budgies. I think he's a dominant banded pied, not clearflight.

I correct myself because I see that he has color on his flights? Correct? Hurdy is right when I read his post I relooked and I looked to fast assuming because of the markings.

I haven't seen any color to his flights. What is a dominant banded pied?

Gahhhhh! He is so cute!

We bought a budgie 2 days ago and also named our new baby boy COSMO! (Inspired by the 'Fairly Odd Parents' whacky kids' cartoon on ABC). Yoiks!
