I have my copy and it is the most comprehensive book on all aspects of the Budgerigar. It covers buying pet birds and training them to the care of the birds. It also covers in depth the requirements of Show Birds. The first edition is still around 2nd hand for $450.00au. I paid $157.00au for my copy new. Link to comment

I bought mine on ebay and paid a little under what you paid for yours new. My First edition copy is new and signed also. But I haven't the new edition yet. Link to comment
