Guest Sco-tie
Bird A: is under 3months of age and hasn't had its first molt so the barrings are still present so i would say around 2 months 6-9weeks and Bird B: is even younger all though the barring is more recieded the beak and cear colours suggest that it is very young possibly not fledged so i would say 3-6weeks. none are adults because the barrings and cear are not fully developed. hope to find out the true answer, Sco-tie Link to comment

Babe still has that cute baby black beak. ???How did I do? :glare: Link to comment

I think they are the same age (Laughing out loud) around 5-6 weeks old. The bottom one is throwing me off because his throat spots are rounder then usual baby ones but the head bars and the back beak indicate baby. Plus he looks like he has been dining on carrots or a veggie of some sort :glare:. as for gender not sure but I will simply guess, the 1st one I can't see very well looks boy but could be girl and the B. I would say male. Link to comment
Guest Sco-tie
i would say both babys are males. can't wait to find out the true answers, Sco-tie Link to comment

A Young Cock Bird B is 26 days old. The features on the head is what I find amaising. I haven't seen a normal with hardly any baring. This is what I would expect with a Spangle or Opaline but not a normal. Going into show aspects, the width of head and depth of mask is nice and also the spots at this age. A very nice Young Cock. Now on with the barring you know Merlin's barring was very light too. Now he is a dominant pied but that is certainly very close to a normal and I figured he would have dark barring but it was light like yours. See the picture and this was with no flash so it wasn't washed out. Link to comment
