The joiners come in two way, three way, four way all the way to a six way. I also used them as supports for the Breeding cages and front door. Very versatile. I have a friend designing breeding cage banks out of them. I am looking forward to seeing that. The mesh is attached by self drilling button head screws. Edited April 6, 2008 by Daz Link to comment

It now comes on automatically 5 minutes before the main lights go off and then 20 minutes after that. This gives a staged decrease in lighting before the night light takes over. Link to comment
Guest throwback
Where have you stashed the 100+ budgies Daz? None in the flights, and a few pairs in the breeding boxes. As nice as they look! You need to fill those new cages and start breeding! the clock is ticking And with the change in ring issue 2009 is it or 2010? I wasn't listening. It' going to mean even an earlier start to the season. Breeding through summer : hate it! Edited June 23, 2008 by throwback Link to comment

I have added another light sensor that operates an outside Bug Zapper and inside light. I have also added another timer to control the light above the bench. The Bench light comes on at 5:45pm and goes off at 7:30pm. The Main Lights come on at 7:00am and off at 7:00pm. The new light and Bug Zapper comes on at dusk and runs for 2 hours. At this time of year that is approx 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The night light comes on at Dusk, approx 6:30pm and off at dawn. What this does is to give four light levels at night for the birds to go to sleep with. I was told that the ultraviolet light used in bug zappers causes infertility in the birds. I don't know if this is right or wrong but didn't want to find out so the zapper is in a position that the birds can't see it. Photos to come. Link to comment

Glad I printed this out before you deleted some of the photos from photobucket what was the ring issue?? I didn't delete any of my photos, I think you mean Throwback's. It might pay for a Mod to clean up those posts. The ring date has been moved in Australia from 1st January to the 1st September so this will have an effect on some breeders. The birds will breed when they want to so tey don't care. I could use a handy man like you in my birdroom Daz....fancy a holiday PS I used a bugzapper in my old birdroom and had NO FERILITY ISSUES If it was only 12 months ago... I could have changed my holidays to two weeks and helped you in May while I was over. Good to hear that you had no problems with the zapper. This is a type of zapper for thse that don't know..
