Something the makers of yahoo have done, a Q and A place about anything, I found it just the other day and thought o check out the pet area * Insert hair ripping smilie here* I just wanted to die at some of the answers given to budgie questions! I have answered as many as I thought needed ( even got a best answer on one ) and directed the askers to here for better answers and respect to the questions. One asked about getting a budgie for her child after the hamster died a while back and that is what the child asked for, and stated she had a cat. The answers given : The cat will eat it don't get one!! I think I got a bit mad in that one :(Laughing out loud): someone else posted that budgies don't live past the age of seven what are perfectly fine one day but just kick off the next becuase they turned 7 ??? But then people are silly, it's very easy not to answer if you don't know the answer, but no they have to continue spreading misinformation.

I just checked it out!! hmmm it's interesting what people say in there!!! haha.. I think I'll be hanging out in there a bit now.. waste some more of my valuable on another site.. hehe..

They have been advertising that site on the radio a lot lately so I thought I would check it out. Lots of silly questions and even more misleading answers, fools leading fools on, very scary to think some of these erroneous suggestions might be taken to heart . Think I will pass on this one, already have enough aggravations in my life! :

I believe a lot of the question are coming from little kids (meaning 13 and up) thinking they are being smart alexs. I answer the ones that I think really need to be cleared up and to post about this place, then if the asker really want the truth they know there are better places out on the web that that.

Haha yeah, I liked the answer to that that went something like:

 

"Well, first you check to see whether or not you're a moron, then look between the dogs back legs, and then chack again, just to make sure you're not a moron."

I normally answer questions on Yahoo. Some people asked about the white ring in the budgies eye.

Someone said that it wass a blood sucking parasite and take it to a vet straight away. I said that happens when they mature.

I slowly forgot about that site and stopped going, i got very sick of the endless "which came first the chicken or the egg" questions

I use to go in there and answer questions, it gets lame though when you recieve 10 points or whatever each time you answer the TOP ANSWER Most of the questions are pathetic and the ... actually ill just keep my mouth shut before i put my foot in it HAHAAAAA

I think it's the point system that is causing all the problems
