HI there everyone! We are new here and looking to find our way around and how to use everything here. I'm Wayne, 54 and my daughter Tanikia aged 10. we are from Port Shepstone near Durban in South Africa. i bought here a Budgie just before end of last year, female named Cloei and got a male named Pastel in the new year. first time owners of Budgies although i do know birds from breeding some way back in the 80's. i do realise cage is very small and working on designing and building a nice bigger one myself as we speak. they laid 4 eggs 3 months agao and i'll elaborate more later. lost 2 day chick and one in egg 2 days later that had cheeped. now laid 4 eags then a 5th but only one hatched and now 24 days old today! handling baby few times a day for 3 days now and need to learn a few things obviously like when do we start water for chick, when separate chick from parents if want to hand tame etc. no baby formulas available near me is there a homemade one for hand feeding? will Cerelac or normal Nestle baby formula work? As you all know, cant believe everything on Youtube or internet. etc etc HELP lol. we want to begin to breed seriosuly as well. money tight and i have my own struggling small business and mrs is housewife with 2 month old baby boy, so i cant just spend freely. we really would appreciate some new friends and help and advice please We will take time to post photos etc this week have an awesome week ahead everyoine
