My budgie, Jet, has a black colored leg band on his left leg with the code B13044 printed on it. I've been contacting a lot of breeders about this particular budgie and code combo and I haven't had much luck in receiving an answer yet. I would like to see if the BBC community has any insight or info on this mystery. ALL HELP IS WELCOME
Hi All, This afternoon, I have picked up a male, green and gold budgie from the footpath on my way to get the kids from school. Lucky I didn't ride over him. He appeared exhausted and close to death with my untrained eye. Took him home on my bike (no easy task!), put him in a spare cage I have, gave him food (was a very hungry budgie!) and water and now he looks a lot better and has perked up. He has a leg band so I'm hoping I can track down the breeder to return him: Leg band : 11384 ANBC BCV16 If you know who this gorgeous little guy belongs to, please let me know! Than
I had setup my breeding pair about 2 weeks ago and everything was looking fine they started mating in 3 day's and the female spends most of the time in the nest box. but recently i have noticed that the female is plucking her vent feathers, she isnt showing any signs of egg binding and is spending 2/3 of the day in the nestbox her poop is huge just like usual and isnt watery or abnormal , she doesnt sit on the floor I have breed budgies before and know what im doing i just find this strange because my last breeding pair layed fertile egg's 5 day's after mating
Hi all I know this question has been asked many times. What Im hoping is that someone may recognise the breeder code as I would like to make contact if possible and obtain some history on this bird as I shall use him for breading. Leg ring is orange 2012 BCV RR 2 X2 C44. I recently came across this obvious show bird in a pet shop in Wodonga Vic. The only info they could give was that the previous owner had brought him in and swapped for a smaller bird. Hears hoping Thanks Paul
