i have a female budgie who until recently was pretty normal. she started molting and her and my male bred. i dont think it was successful since she never laid an egg but now she is laying completely flat on her belly for most of the day. she has a very faint yellow staining above her cere. tail bobbing and seems to be having difficulty flying. I seperated her from the male in fear of her being sick and spreading it to him. im worried about her but she seems to eat and drink like normal. i know they miss each other as i put the cages close enough they can chirp at each other and not be too lonely. the male has now started humping EVERYTHING in the cage. could the female just be egg bound? if so what should i do? im use to Big parrots not small budgies but i love my birds and want to help them. am i over reacting and shes just ready for round two of the male or am i justified in thinking she may be sick? please help

My poor blue baby has been single since he flew into our life. There are females available yet he doesn't really know how to talk to girls. Instead of singing and grooming them, Blu rushes up and starts peck the female's wings and beak agressively. Is there a way to show him how to get a mate?

Okay so, I have had my budgie since September, and I have slowly worked my way up to using millet to get my hen to hop onto my finger. I have noticed some behavior that I haven't been able to find anywhere else(apologize if there's a thread somewhere here.) Basically, my hen will hop onto my finger for the millet, but sometimes bite me pretty hard, enough to turn the area red or leave an indent. I've tried to ignore it to see what happens, but she will literally keep going until I put her down or she goes back to the millet. I have also tried getting her to step up without the millet, and it's the same result. She goes crazy biting the heck out of my hand. Will step up without issue, either with or without millet, but this biting thing has me baffled and I'm not sure what to do? Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA
