  1. no. you need to take this bird to the vet. i know i sound horriblwe but birds are NOT cheap always always always remember that you need spare funds for a vet trip and other needs. if your not willing to do that you should no have bought this budgie. anyway i wish you good luck x
  2. wow you have reaaly nice blows on your budgies i like them.
  3. haha my mistake i thout 'he' was a she and yes if you could help us out with information as maesie and i stated above that would be helpful to us you and the budgies. xx
  4. okaay my first though was egg bound but i think if you can provide us with any more information about what activities she is doing we may be able to help you more xx
  5. well it is a big risk not knowing the age of a hen when concidering breeding. many complications can occur with young mums or dads. breeding is complicated altogether. just letting you know "how long till this pair should be ready" if your hen and cock are at the correct breeding age (12 months or so ) they sound as you say to start to be bonding. four weeks of earlier after they are in a correct breeding setup the male may mate with the hen but they both have to be incondition, the males cere bright blue the females a cinnimon brown. im not sure if what i had just told you is what you wanted to know but haha i told you anyway goodluck and feel free to throw out as many questions as needed\wanted. xx Elise xx

  12. yes LOL it is frustrating, but its the way we learn. one day it might be so simple but where is te fun in that. and yes i do understand show breeders dont exactly look for the fun but for the quality :celebrate: anyway ill shut up now.. x x
  13. hmm im pretty sure it is BUT in small amounts ? ill leave this one to the proffesionals. but i do think if a little bit i would be because the water content would cause diareahh but dont quote me on that
  14. hey sorry to hear about lina. is there any improvment yet. any questions feel free to ask we are all here to help.you need to get someone to monitor her if possible as birds often have the habbit of ACTING fine ( so pretitors dont use the advantage and go for the weaker) xx best wishes

  16. if they are with other birds isolation might be handy :fingerscrossed: goodluck and keep us posted
  17. okay this issue always has two opinions to it. so im not saying either is right or wrong. there is pros and cons to both sides. it really depends on what your looking for. yes breeders get diseases as well as pet shops. its really up to you. some pet shops are better than others and thats the exact same with breeders. breeders will usually have a breeding back round but if your lucky you can track them from a pet store. x x i dont want bitchiness about pet shops and breeders its up to you darl
